Full Pass classes will be held on Saturday and Sunday, the 31st of october and 1st of November 2026.
During registration you can choose between Intermediate, Intermediate-Advanced and Advanced level. You can also add special classes to each track. The desciprtion of the tracks and the special classes can be find below.
There will be a mandatory audition for those who registered for the Advanced Level and wish to take part in the Advanced+ level on saturday at 10:00 at Crespo Open Space. There the teachers will check the homogeneity in the group and choose who gets a spot in our Advanced+ group. If you don´t show up to the audition, you might be put in the lower level.
Please be true to yourself by choosing the right level during registration! Teachers reserve the right to change the levels of participants if necessary.
Balboa Intermediate
You take regular Balboa classes for at least a year now and you like to use it when you attend swing socials. Maybe you are not used to dance to fast tempos yet, but you would like to get more into it. Probably it´s your first international workshop? However you really want to explore more of the dance techniques and to learn new shapes and movements.
Balboa Intermediate-Advanced
You already got hooked with Balboa for a bit and you try to get more vocabulary, more techniques and starting with rhythm and footwork variations. You already enjoy dancing also on a bit faster music. But you know, you still have to work a lot on connection, rhythms and style. This is probably not your first international festival.
Balboa Advanced (audition required)
You love Balboa and you take every chance to dance it on socials from fast to very fast. You are already dancing on a very good technical and creative level. You went to many international festivals and you love to get more into the details, try out more challenging rhythm variations and you already developed your own style.
Balboa Advanced+ (audition required)
You are one of the best Balboa dancers in your community and you probably teach there, too. You are more than comfortable in Pure Bal and Bal-Swing and you already developed a unique personal style. And you know it is important to work on the tinyest adjustments to make your dancing even smoother. For sure you also attend every Balboa festival that is possible and you like to take part in competitions.
Slow Bal Advanced
You already dance Slow Balboa for a longer period or have been to several festivals and you feel comortable with slow and even slower music. With all your experience in Slow Bal and maybe even some other slow dances you are ready to dig deeper into improvisation and musicality. It´s important for you to improve your technique constantly!

Breaks in Balboa with Isabelle & Eran on Friday, 30.10.2026, 16:30 – 17:30
You know the song – you hear a break coming – but don´t know how to style it? How can you react and decorate those important musical moments? In this open level class Isabelle & Eran will boost your musicality!
Endings in Balboa with Isabelle & Eran on Friday, 30.10.2026, 17:45 – 18:45
You hear the end of the song coming and start to panic…what to do now? How to put a nice ending to a nice dance? In this class Isabelle & Eran will give you some good ideas, tips and tricks how to keep that beautiful energy up to the last moment of a song. This is an open level class.
Slow Bal Intermediate with Maria & Luis on Saturday, 31.10.2026, 14:15 – 15:30
You are comfortable with the basic steps and have taken Slow Balboa classes before, either regularly or at festivals. You are looking forward to refine your basics and widen your repertoire. You know, it is important to work on the connection to your partner as well as refining your technique. NB! This is not a beginners class.
Slow Bal Intermediate with Yuliya & Aaron on Saturday, 31.10.2026, 15:45 – 17:00
You are comfortable with the basic steps and have taken Slow Balboa classes before, either regularly or at festivals. You are looking forward to refine your basics and widen your repertoire. You know, it is important to work on the connection to your partner as well as refining your technique. NB! This is not a beginners class.
Jig Trot with Nina & Anthony on Sunday, 01.11.2026, 10:30 – 11:45
Jig Trot is a fun and energetic, shag like step often danced by southern California swing dancers alongside their balboa. Nina & Anthony will teach you how to dance in and out the step as well as some rhythmic and styling variations. Level intermediate-advanced and up.
Pure Bal with Maria & Luis on Sunday, 01.11.2026, 12:00 – 13:15
If you love the cozy, connected feeling of Balboa this is just the right spot for you! Book this special class with Maria & Luis for some surprise pure Bal variations. Level intermediate-advanced and up.
